With WebSphere 6.1 about to go into ‘extended support’ in September there are many clients looking to migrate. Even though IBM has announced the availability of WebSphere 8.5 for June/July 2012 most clients are currently looking to migrate to 8.0. Since migration is not an overnight process there are many steps you will need to take to make sure it is successful. In this webinar we will lay out the high level steps in migrating to a new WebSphere version in addition to covering some of the details for the new features that will impact your new environment. Also covered will be some tools that can help with certain aspects of the migration.
