Although Apache Maven has been around for several years now, some of us have been reluctant to adopt it for our development projects. We have many excuses – It’s not flexible. We can’t control what it downloads. It’s hard to use. The metadata is difficult to understand. We can’t layout our project the way we want. And the list goes on.
