The Introduction to MuleSoft Excursion is an orientation-level course designed for those new to MuleSoft. Students will apply MuleSoft’s products (Anypoint Exchange, Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Monitoring) to existing APIs. Students will navigate the components of Anypoint Platform and practice using them to support the full life-cycle of APIs and integrations.
The Tactical Mission

The Tactical Mission Quest is a survey course recommended for adventurers new to MuleSoft. Students will build a system API and use it to create an API implementation. Anypoint Platform components will be used to deploy, secure, and manage APIs. Process APIs will be employed to connect to databases and consume web services.
MuleSoft API Design

The API Design Excursion educates the student to diagram, analyze, and create effective API specifications using RAML to support the design-first approach to API development. Students will understand the purpose of an API specification in an integration project and detail the functional behavior of the API, datatypes, and expected responses.
Make an Integration with Mule

On the Make an Integration with Mule Excursion, students will design and test a Mule application in Anypoint Studio, MuleSoft’s IDE (integration development environment). Students will use the APIKit to scaffold an implementation from an API specification, connect to a database, test, and debug. Students will then deploy their Mule application to CloudHub and manage it from API Manager.
Connecting APIs Together

This DataWeave Programming Language training course is appropriate for any integration specialist that desires to build their transformation skillset. The course starts with a review of basic DataWeave objectives before covering complex expressions with real-world use cases. In addition, students will use the DataWeave extension for Visual Studio, publish Libraries to Anypoint Exchange, and use a library in a MuleSoft Project.
