Prerequisites
- Three to six months of regular Tableau usage or completion of TP3322 Tableau Level 1 and TP3321 Tableau Level 2.
- Familiarity with calculations and a desire to move fast.
Skills Gained
- Use advanced time series analytics, including cycle plots, line charts with percent change and YOY growth, running total charts, and forecasting.
- Apply advanced calculations with a review of ratios and aggregations, logic and date calculations, YTD calculations, and level of detail calculations.
- Explore statistical analysis and relationships between data, including exploring variation through visualization
- Use clustering to identify groups of data points that are similar to each other
- Measure the success of a business with KPIs
- Apply advanced geographic analysis, including filled maps, symbol maps, dual axis maps, custom maps, custom territories or regions, Mapbox, and background maps
- Create advanced charts, including bar charts, donut charts, waterfall charts, bullet graphs, and bar-in-bar charts
- Create advanced dashboards, including layouts, using and formatting layout containers, formatting, fonts, and colors.
- Look for patterns in the data, called key insights, and make recommendations on the key insights
- Use story points to estimate the time and resources needed to complete a project
- Apply advanced interactivity to change the data visualization when a user interacts with it.
