The role of the architect involves more than technical expertise.  The soft skills workshop is designed to ensure that trainees are aware of the challenges and the many demands that are placed upon the architect from an organizational perspective.  Attention is given to the subject of leadership, project management, communication, and navigating the troublesome political waters that architects find themselves in.

An event-driven architecture uses events to communicate and coordinate between decoupled services. Applications built using event-driven principles can be highly scalable, resilient, and extensible - essential for large modern applications. These architectures also align with and take advantage of the capabilities of modern cloud providers. This training teaches attendees how to understand and apply event-driven architectures.

This course introduces the students to the fundamentals of Solution and Software Architecture. Within the broader strategic vision that Enterprise Architecture (EA) provides, there is a need to provide structure and guidance around the more tactical solution architecture capabilities that are developed to ensure they are consistent with the broader EA strategy.

This hands-on workshop explores the subject of Business Architecture, providing teams with a solid foundation for execution.  The truth is, that your business has an architecture.  You are either in the driver's seat defining your business's structure and roadmap to success (i.e. your Business Architecture) or you are at the mercy of the ad-hoc architecture that you have stumbled into over the past 10-15 years.

This course provides a balanced experience, deftly blending academic content with practical hands-on lab exercises Attendees will begin the course with an informal collection of architecture concepts, strategies, and work products, and conclude the workshop with a comprehensive approach to organizing and practicing the discipline of architecture.

This workshop focuses on the Business Architecture (BA) Domain.The workshop walks through the development of the key domain catalogs, matrices, and diagrams. It also reviews the related TOGAF® metamodel entities.

This course focuses on the most commonly used architecture deliverables and skills that organizations use when starting an EA program. The course includes: Reference Architecture development, architecture requirements definition, gap analysis, architecture roadmaps, architecture patterns, architecture tactics, architecture techniques, COTS architecture and considerations.

This course covers the bread-and-butter architecture techniques: Quality Attributes, non-functional requirements, architecture patterns, architecture tactics, architecture review process, the rubric and decision framework techniques (e.g. SWOT, flowcharts, decision tables/trees).

This workshop provides a baseline development methodology, baseline development templates, and labs to facilitate the organization planning a baseline initiative.

This course is for architects of all types (EA, solution architecture, technical architecture, etc.). It covers core architecture concepts: Architecture Principles, Stakeholders, Views & Viewpoints, Quality Attributes, Nonfunctional requirements, Tactics, Patterns, and Techniques.

A modern architect has to navigate many a technologies. This course covers the current architectural challenges around Agile, Cloud, Integration Patterns, Microservices, Containers and REST.
