.NET Core is a new open-source and cross-platform framework. With .NET Core, you can create console, desktop, web, and mobile backend applications. Apps can run on .NET Core or on the full .NET Framework. .NET Core applications can run on Windows, Linux, and OS X / macOS. In this course we mostly focus on ASP.NET MVC / Web API


In this training, attendees will learn how to:

  • Setup development environment for using .NET Core for cross-platform development
  • Use newer keywords and syntax in C# 6
  • Build ASP.NET Core MVC and Web API using .NET Core
  • Secure ASP.NET Core site
  • Deploy ASP.NET Core site under Windows and Linux


Preferably, attendees should be comfortable with C# and using command shell commands in a Linux / Unix and Windows environment.
