Emotional Intelligence Training

Poised, outgoing, cheerful, having empathy for others, being able to express feelings directly but appropriately, and having the capacity for developing relationships. All of these abilities distinguish individuals with high Emotional Intelligence (EQ). In fact EQ is a more reliable predictor of success than intellect! Leaders with a strong mixture of emotional awareness, self-management, and social skills navigate relationships more effectively and are more likely to be successful in their professional lives. This course provides participants with an understanding of why having a high EQ is important as a leader, how to measure their own EQ and the pitfalls of having a low EQ. Participants will also receive practical, techniques for promoting EQ within the business environment.

3. Emotional Intelligence in communication

  • Understanding the rhetoric/reality gap and working through this
