This module introduces students to all of the services that are available with Microsoft Azure. Students get a brief introduction to the services and then learn how to plan for a migration to Microsoft Azure.

Students will use Azure PowerShell to manage and create storage in Microsoft Azure. Students will also learn how create and manage an Azure SQL Database.

Students will learn how to implement a virtual network, configure DNS for a virtual network, and configure cross-premises connectivity with Microsoft Azure. This module will introduce the students to Azure Active Directory. Students will learn how to manage users and access to cloud resources, extend their on-premises AD to the cloud, provide single sign-on across cloud applications, enable multi-factor authentication, and provide authentication and access management for developers.

This module introduces the students to the topic of big data. Students will learn how to use HDInsight to manage data of any type. Students will also learn how to use Azure Backup to back up and recover company data to the cloud.
