  • Configure ports using advanced adapters like WCF-SQL, WCR, SharePoint and HTTP.
  • Use Sing Sign-On to increase security.
  • Create and deploy Business Rules.
  • Create and deploy Business Activity Monitoring view.
  • Manage BizTalk Server groups, instances and adapters.
  • Backup and restore BizTalk Server 2009 computer.
Prerequisites
 

Before attending this course, students must have:

  • Experience administering a Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft .NET concept and technology.
  • No prior BizTalk experience is necessary.

Module 1: Introduction to BizTalk Server 2009

This module describes the common BizTalk 2009 tools and technologies, messaging architecture and tools provided to develop, manage and monitor BizTalk Server environment.

  • Describe messaging architecture and common scenarios of BizTalk Server.
  • Describe components and tools used for BizTalk managing and monitoring.
  • Describe tools for BizTalk application development.

Module 2: Installing and Configuring BizTalk Server 2009

This module explains how to plan and perform the installation of BizTalk Server, and then how to configure BizTalk Server for optimal use in a production environment. Also students will learn about LOB adapters and how to manage them.

Module 3: Deploying and Managing BizTalk Server Applications

This module describes how to manage, maintain and monitor a BizTalk Server Environment. Student will also learn how to deploy and manage BizTalk Server applications. The module also describes Single Sign-On usage.

  • Deploy Applications using MSI packages and BTSTask command line tool.
  • Use monitoring tools for message activity tracking.
  • Create and manage ports.
  • Configure HTTP Receive port.
  • Setup MSSQL polling in WCF-SQL Receive port.
  • Configure SharePoint ports.
  • Using SSO to increase security of BizTalk Server.

Module 4: Business Rules and Business Activity Monitoring

This module describes how to manage, maintain and monitor a BizTalk Environment. Student will also learn how to deploy and manage BizTalk Server Applications and Business Activity Monitoring modules.

This module explains how to administer BizTalk Server group, create and manage backups, configure Single Sign-On service, install and manage BizTalk Server Adapter Pack.
