If you plan to attend one of our LVC courses that has hands on lab excersises, please verify that you can connect to our virtual lab in advance.
For the purpose of testing connectivity, a test machine has been setup in our virtual classroom. Please follow the instruction below to perform the test:
1. Download and open this preconfigured remote desktop shortcut TestRemoteDesktop.rdp.
2. Remote desktop should open. You may receive a warning indicating the publisher is unknown. You can safely ignore it.
3. Click Connect.
4. You should now be presented with a login prompt. Enter the following username and password.
Username: LABS\wasadmin
Password: wasadmin
5. It should now connect you to our test machine and you should see the windows desktop.
If you have successfully connected, the test is done. You should have no problem connecting to the lab machine that will be assigned to you for your class. You will be sent a different preconfigured remote desktop shortcut for your assigned machine along with instructions closer to the class start date.
If you are unable to connect, please verify that you have an up to date remote desktop client installed. Older versions of remote desktop will not be able to connect.
