WA1714 Web 2.0 Analysis and Design for Web Oriented Architecture (WOA) Training and Courseware (coming soon)

This 2-day course will introduce you to Web Oriented Architecture (WOA) and the proper design Web 2.0 applications.  WOA represents an important movement within the IT industry.  As organizations have adopted Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, AJAX, Web 2.0, and related technology solutions, a new breed of Web-based solution has emerged.  As such, a disciplined and well-reasoned methodology for analysis and design combined with a Web-centric architectural style has emerged in the form of WOA.

Concepts in this workshop are re-enforced through a combination of group discussion, class exercises, hands-on labs, and daily reviews.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of Web 2.0 is highly recommended, perhaps by taking WA1607.

Hands-on experience with HTML and Javascript required. Exposure to XML and CSS preferred, but not required.
