WA1119 Lab Setup Guide
Minimum Hardware Requirements
  • SUN SPARC ULTRA 5 (366 Mhz)
  • 512 MB RAM minimum, 768 MB recommended
  • 10 GB disk space
  • Ethernet or Token Ring card
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Network connectivity to the internet
  • Must have LAN connectivity
Minimum Software Requirements
  • Solaris 8 with the latest fix packs
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader V4.0 or later
  • Netscape 4.7 or higher
  • Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition
  • WebSphere Application Server Advanced Edition, Version 3.5
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server Resource Analyzer, Version 3.5
Installation
  1. Install Oracle 8i following the labsetup guide in the supporting zip.
  2. Copy or share the WebSphere V3.5 installation.
  3. From the supporting zip, extract wasWorkShop.zip to hard drive.
