| Minimum Software Requirements |
|
- Windows NT (w/ Service pack 4 or higher)
- Adobe Acrobat Reader V4.0 or later
- Netscape Navigator 4.7 or higher, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
- IBM UDB V8.1 Enterprise Edition *
- IBM WAS V4.0 Fix Pack 6 *
- IBM WebSphere Application Server V4.0 Advanced Edition **
- WinZip 8.0 or higher (downloadable from www.winzip.com)

| Installation |

Note: The drive with the installation files will be referred to as drive X:, please substitute this drive letter with the appropriate CD or Network
drive letter.
- Receive the following CD(s) from Web Age Solutions:
- DB2 V8.1 EE
- WAS V4.0 Fix Pack 6
- Receive by email the supporing zip file from Web Age Solutions.
- Uninstall earlier versions of the following software:
- IBM HTTP Server
- IBM DB2 UDB
- IBM WebSphere Application Server
- Click the link IBM DB2 V8.1 Enterprise Edition for installation.
- Lab setup:
- Create a directory called X:\wasWorkshop\ and extract the supporting zip to that directory.
- Create a directory called X:\wasSoftwareImage and copy the WebSphere Application Server V4.0 CD to that directory
- Unzip file was40_ae_ptf_6.zip into C:\ WASV40AE\Fix Pack 6 from the Fix
Pack 6 CD.
