Receive the Supporting zip file by mail from Web Age Solutions.

Receive the following CDs from Web Age Solutions:

• CentOS 4 Linux (4 CDs)
• WA1628 CD including:
• WebLogic Platform 8.1 SP6 for Linux (server816_linux32.bin)
• PointBase 4.5 (pbinstall45ev-java.zip)
• Java for Linux (jre-6u3-linux-i586-rpm.bin)

Install and setup the software in the following order (click the software title for installation instructions):

CENTOS 4

1. Click the link CentOS 4 Linux for installation instructions.

WebLogic Platform 8.1 SP6 for Linux

2. From the WA1628 CD, copy the server816_linux32.bin file into /root. This should create /root/ server816_linux32.bin file.

PointBase 4.5

3. From the WA1628 CD, copy the PointBase 4.5 CD into /root. This should create /root/pbinstall45ev-java.zip file.
4. Extract /root/pbinstall45ev-java.zip into /root. This should create the ./root/install.jar file.

Java

5. From the WA1628 CD, copy the jre-6u3-linux-i586-rpm.bin file into /usr/java. This should create /usr/java/ jre-6u3-linux-i586-rpm.bin file.
6. Click the link Java for Linux setup guide for installation instructions.

Supporting zip file

7. Unzip the Supporting zip file to /. This should create /wlalabs folder.
