This training will highlight techniques that cannot make for poorly designed applications or execution environments. Properly re-factoring applications has proven critical to improve performances in most cases. This training will also emphasize whenever possible on the differences with WebLogic 9, and on the evolution of several critical J2EE technologies and how they will change the landscape of J2EE applications (EJB 3.0, SOA, etc).

What you will learn

At the end of this training students will be able to improve the performance of applications deployed on WebLogic Server 8.1 by tuning parameters at various levels: OS, Java Virtual Machine, WebLogic Server itself, and the J2EE applications (including applications developed using the BEA Portal technology).
