WA1072 Lab Setup Guide
Minimum Hardware Requirements
  • 400 MHz CPU
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 700 MB hard disk space on drive C.
  • CD-ROM drive
  • LAN Adapter
  • Networked
  • Internet Access (strongly recommended)
Minimum Software Requirements
  • Windows 2000 SP2
  • Internet Explorer 5.5 or later
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader V4.0
  • WinZip 8.0 (downloadable from www.winzip.com)
  • Microsoft Application Stress Test Tool
  • WebLogic Server 8.1.1 *
* - indicates software provided by Web Age Solutions on CD.
Installation
Receive a Supporting zip file by email from Web Age Solutions.

Receive the following CD(s) from Web Age Solutions:
  • WebLogic Server 8.1.1 for Microsoft Windows NT/2000
Uninstall any installation of WebLogic or the JDK already on the system. Install and setup the software in the following order (click the software title for installation instructions) :
  1. Extract the file WA1072-REL_x_x-Supporting.zip to C:\. This will create a C:\labs folder.
  2. Click the link WebLogic V8.1.1 for installation.
  3. Download Microsoft Web Application Stress Tool from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e2c0585a-062a-439e-a67d-75a89aa36495&displaylang=en. Install using defaults.
