Minimum Hardware Requirements
  • 1000Mhz Pentium III
  • 512 MB RAM minimum
  • 6 GB
  • Ethernet or Token Ring card
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Network connectivity to the internet
Minimum Software Requirements
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 SP3
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 (or higher)
  • Netscape 7 or Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher)
  • WinZip 8.0 (or higher)
  • IBM DB2 V7.1 Personal Developer Edition *
  • Rational Rose 2003 Enterprise Edition*
  • Disk 1 and Disk2 of IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer v5.1.1 *
* - indicates software provided by Web Age Solutions on CD.
Installation

Note: The drive with the installation files will be referred to as drive X: , please substitute this drive letter with the appropriate CD or network drive letter.

Receive the following CD(s) from Web Age Solutions:
  • DB2 V7.1 Personal Developer Edition
  • Rational Rose 2003 Enterprise Edition
  • Disk 1 and Disk 2 of WSAD5.1.1

Install and setup the software in the following order (click the software title for installation instructions) :

  1. Click the link IBM DB2 V7.1 Personal Developer Edition for installation.
  2. Click the link Rational Rose Enterprise Edition 2003 for installation.
  3. Click the link IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer v5.1.1 for installation.
