Installation
Receiving the following CD from Web Age Solutions:
- DB2 V8.2 UDB Personal Edition
- WA1365 CD containing:
- J2 SDK 1.5 (jdk-1_5_0_06-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe)
- Eclipse 3.1.2 (eclipse-SDK-3.1.2-win32.zip)
- MyEclipse 4.1.1 (EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_4.1.1GA_E3.1.exe)
- JBoss 4.0.3 (jboss-4.0.3SP1.zip)
Install and setup the software in the following order:
Task 1: DB2 v8.2 UDB Personal Edition
Task 2: Install J2SE 1.5
- Copy jdk-1_5_0_06-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe from the setup CD to the local hard drive.
- From the hard drive, run the executable file selecting the default setup.
- Restart the system.
Task 3: Install Eclipse 3.1.2
- Copy eclipse-SDK-3.1.2-win32.zip from the setup CD to the local hard drive.
- From the hard drive, unzip the file to c:\ide. (It should create the folder C:\ide\eclipse)
Task 4: Install MyEclipse 4.1.1
- Copy EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_4.1.1GA_E3.1.exe from CD to local hard drive.
- From the hard drive, run the executable file.
- In the Choose Eclipse Folder window, under Please choose existing Eclipse Installation Folder, enter:
C:\ide\eclipse
- In the Choose Install Folder window, under Where would you like to Install MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench, enter:
C:\ide\MyEclipse
- Follow the wizard steps to complete the installation
Task 5. Install JBoss Application Server
- Copy jboss-4.0.3SP1.zip from the setup CD to the local hard drive.
- From the hard drive, unzip the file to c:\. (It should create the folder C:\jboss-4.0.3SP1)
