Minimum Hardware Requirements
  • 500Mhz Pentium
  • 512 MB RAM minimum
  • 4 GB Hard Drive Space
  • CD-ROM drive
Minimum Software Requirements
  • Microsoft Windows 2000
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader V4.0 or later
  • Netscape Navigator 4.7 or higher, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
  • Struts 1.1 jakarta-struts-1.1.zip (available from http://www.webagesolutions.com/download/jakarta-struts-1.1.zip using the username and password access2.)
  • IBM DB2 V8.1 Personal Developer Edition*
  • IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer V5.0*
  • WinZip 8.0 or higher
* - indicates software provided by Web Age Solutions on CD.
Installation
Note: The drive with the installation files will be referred to as drive X:, please substitute this drive letter with the appropriate CD or network drive letter.

Receive the supporting zip file by email from Web Age Solutions.

Receive the following CD from Web Age Solutions:
  • IBM DB2 V8.1 Personal Developer Edition
  • WSAD V5.0
Install and setup the software in the following order:
  1. Click the link IBM DB2 V8.1 Personal Developer Edition for installation.
  2. Click the link IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer V5.0 for installation.
  3. Unzip the file jakarta-struts-1.1.zip to the local hard drive.
  4. Extract the supporting zip you receive through email to the local hard drive.
