This course will provide the skills to create, use and alter datasets using ISPF. Many of the ISPF panels will be reviewed including SDSF, which will be used to review JCL submitted from an EDIT panel. |

After completing this course the student should be able to:
- At completion, each student will be able to:
- Know how to select options from the ISPF panels.
- Know how to create and modify datasets.
- Copy data from one dataset to another.
- Use the ISPF editor to modify datasets or PDS members.
- Customize the ISPF profile for a dataset.
- Use the ISPF line editor commands.
- Submit JCL for execution.
- Use SDSF to review the results of JCL (job) submission.
- Customise the ISPF terminal and function key settings and change the password.
- Identify special ISPF menu options (eg DB2).
