Custom Education Programs

Signing up for classes "a la carte" is a great way to get your team the ad-hoc training that they need. When your organization is interested in educating a single business unit or even the entire enterprise, then a more comprehensive approach is needed.

Creating a customized education program is not as complicated as it might first seem. There are three basic steps.

Step 1: Our customized education programs begin with an understanding of your needs:

  • Which job roles that require training?
  • What are the target knowledge/skills for each role?
  • Describe the level of depth and detail required for each competency
  • Are there preferred tools for hands-on reinforcement of concepts?
  • Do you need instructor-led training, live virtual training, on-demand format, or a combination of these?
  • Is there a need for any validation or certification of knowledge/skill development?

Step 2: Next we provide a rough draft for the education program

Deliverables at this stage may vary, but are likely to include the following:

  • Course map (see samples here)
  • Course outlines
  • Proposal / Statement of Work
  • Instructor bios

Step 3: Collaborate to refine the education program

Through a series of collaborative exchanges, we will work with your team to tailor the learning plan, course content, measurement metrics, and any other facets of the education program that do not properly align with your goals

Step 4: Pilot, refine, and roll out

The final stage involves an incremental and iterative process. For each role, our master educators will work with your organization to conduct a pilot course and then refine that course based upon team feedback. At this point, the course is ready for general release within the organization.
